Steve picked Gabbie up from school today and said she looked horrible. So horrible he called his brother to get our pediatrician's number, made her an appointment for today, stopped by a friend's house for diapers, McDonalds, and headed to the doctor (what a dad)!
Diagnosis: Infection in eye (not pink eye, but kind of a cold), right ear infection (hoping this doesn't get out of hand because I believe that is the ear that the tube is out), and get this a BAND-AID stuck up in her nose! Gabbie has been getting a few bloody noses here and there. I thought for sure it was allergies, weather changes, etc... Steve said the doctor said she had something stuck up her nose and pulled out a blue band-aid which I am assuming is a Care Bear one. Nice isn't it! I am just hoping this will stop the bloody noses some!
So now we are on band-aid lockdown. Wish us luck! She gets bee-otchy(is that a word?) without her band-aids!

wow! you have THAT kid, huh? there will be a new warning on band-aids now as a result of her, huh? seriously...i don't know that she can hang around with my kids...what a bad example :)
OMGOODNESS poor Gabby and a bandaid up the nose. I do believe that is a first for me to hear about! Oh, what a great dad and hoping little Gabby is feeling better soon.
oh, poor kitten! any one of those things would be bad enough but all three at once just isn't right. i hope she's feeling better soon.
and, yes, i would totally say that beyotchy is a word. in fact, sophia is perfecting her very own beyotchy behavior this week . . . ;)
My oldest son stuck a starburst wrapper up his nose when he was 2 1/2. We didn't notice it until he sneezed it out (about)two days later. It sure freaked me out!!
OH, hope she feels better! Great job, Dad!!
Now, onto the band-aid up the nose. I am laughing so hard I am crying. Sorry!! I know, not funny, but from here--it is!!
Owie! What a great dad.
WOW! Any idea how long it was there??? You know she is a smart girl though, putting the band-aid where it was bleeding. That one is for the record books!
And she was a beautiful princess too!
I know a great scrapbook page for this event - I hope you saved that band-aid for the baby book!
